The reviews are pouring in! Runners love us. Read for yourself…

Another Paine to pain half marathon in the books. This year it wasn't so kind to me. Wet weather forced me to slow down quite a bit. My glasses kept fogging up and I had to wipe them frequently in order to see the trail. Also for the first time in 11 years running this race, one of the [race's] most infamous obstacles stung me on my arm. All of that being said I wouldn't give up that experience for anything. The Paine to Pain Half Marathon Trail Race is still my favorite race. Hopefully I will be able to continue to come back and run every year. Thanks to Eric Turkewitz, all the volunteers, vendors and sponsors that help to make this Westchester's best running event. —Michael Wolf via Facebook

This race kicked my ass. Everyone said I was crazy to do this as my first 1/2 marathon. But I finished and they didn’t. And I went to the Yankee game after. See you next year. —Amanda Moody via Facebook
